BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 17th July, Midweek Stableford and 2BBB. Winner of the Singles was Paul Rowe (16) with 37 points, beating home Mani Hutchinson (30) with 35 on countback, Roger Saxton (14) and John Hollis (23) took out the 2B with 43 points over Dave Brown (17) and Dave Birrell (17) with 41 on c/b. Nearest the Pin on the 5th went to Jim Walsh @ 588cm and Dave Birrell on 17 @ 650cm, balls to 33 points on c/b.

MEDLEY

Saturday 20th July, Wal Patterson Memorial Cup, Medley Single Stableford in conjunction, sponsored by Yvonne Murray, Paul Rowe, Peter Bamford and Gordon Stovold. The Awesome Foursome of Lesley Robinson, Michael Mole, John Hollis and Andrew Price combined with 130 points to take home the Cup, John Hollis (23) also won the Men’s event with 39 points and Louise Aaron (34) won the Lady’s Singles with 28. Nearest the Pins were as follows, 2nd (Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), Larry Manning @ 90cm, 5th (Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), Ray Stanford @ 110cm, 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing), Peter Moore @ 400cm, 13th (Roger and Etsuko Saxton), Rhonda Lonergan @ 432cm, 14th (Scully Legal), John Hollis @ 230cm, and on the Ben Cameron sponsored 17th Geoff Cope won the $310 Pro Pin with a great shot to 70cm! The weather was stunning and the course is in beautiful condition, we had visitors from Killara, Leura, Wentworth Falls, Lithgow, Kiama and Eastlakes, balls went to 33 on countback.
