Blackheath Men…Wednesday 14th April was Midweek time again at beautiful Blackheath. The winner of the Single Stableford was Mani Hitchenson (27) with 43 points picking up a $50 voucher ahead of Mark Allen (8) with 36 points. The 2 Ball aggregate went to Mani Hitchenson (27) and his grandad Dave Birrell (22) with 75 points keeping it all in the family. Balls went down to 32 points and Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Shane Murphy at 490 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th to Gordon Stovold at 322 cms.

Saturday 17th April… was a Single Stableford and 2 Ball Aggregate sponsored by Steve Tolhurst.Good to see Mick Hillier (13) back in the winners circle after a recent lean trot with 42 points ahead of Geoffrey Hull (20) with 40 points. The 2 Ball Aggregate went to Mick Hillier (13) and Graham Dowdell (8) with 75 points .Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole failed to go off, on the Leading Edge Computer Sponsored 5th to John Wilson at 298 cms, on the Monocure 3D sponsored 7th to Mick Hillier at 192 cms, on the Victor Kanjian sponsored 13th to Brad Pidgeon at 347 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14th to Max Williamson at 780 cms and on the Ben Cameron One FiveFive sponsored 17th to Ian Evans also picking up the propin at 90 cms. Balls went to 35 points. Next Saturday the Men and Ladies play the Autumn Cup round of the Vivaldi Cup…a Single Stableford and 2BBB .

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 15th April was a Single Stableford sponsored by Yvonne Murray. The winner was Karen Tolhurst (35) with 39 points ahead of Jean Simpson (28) with 36 points. Nearest the pin on the Loneragan Family sponsored 2nd went to Nola Lavers, on the 5th to Sunny Ihm, on the 7th to Trish Honeysett also picking up the propin and on the 13th to Nola Lavers. Balls went to 30 points on a countback. Next Thursday the ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Mandy McAlister.

Saturday 17th April… was a 2 Person Ambrose sponsored by Susie Tonkin and Judy Grieve. The winner were Roz Starkey and Carrie Soady playing off 15 and finishing with 68 nett ahead of Yvonne Murray and Ros Allen playing off 17 and finishing with 70.8 nett. Nearest the pin on the 7th went to Cindy Fitzgerald, on the 13th to Rhonda Lonergan and on the 17th to Rebecca Brown. Balls went to 77.5 nett.
