Blackheath Men

Wednesday 13th March was wet. Stuart Brown scored 39 points from a 12 handicap to lead those few who completed the Single Stableford.

On Saturday 16th March there were no finishers in the Single Stableford and 2-Man Multiplier sponsored by Carlos Denoso and Roger Pierce. But, rain was no excuse for those who had made it through to the matchplay knockout section of our Club Championships. In rain interrupted rounds, those not involved in forfeits battled to make it to the semi-final stage of the comp. A Grade winners were Brent Bones, Nat Foster, Andrew Lawson and Luke Skinner. B grade winners were Darrell Gawthorpe, Sam Gray, Jason Duke and Andrew Komma. C Grade victors included Clarks (G&C), Rod Welsh and Rob Skinner. Semi finals are next Saturday, 23rd March.

Blackheath Women

Unfortunately, there was no play on Thursday or Saturday. So, not much to report.

Medley

The Friday 9-hole comp, which is open to anyone with a GA handicap, was rained out, as was our Sunday “36 points” or above” open comp. Sunday’s comp rewards players who can equal or beat their handicap with a box of pro-V1 or equivalent balls.

Juniors

Our free Junior Coaching continues during school terms at 3.45pm from the Pro-Shop.

To enter any of our comps, or to find out more, please ring Darrin’s Pro Shop on 4787 5643.
