Blackheath Golf Results Wednesday 11th November - Saturday 14th November 2020

Blackheath Men….Wednesday 11th November was our usual Single Stableford and 2BBB . Another great field on a glorious day played some great golf with the day being won on a countback by John Wilson (22) with a fine 41 points ahead of Jim O’Keeffe (13) also on 41 points.The 2BBB went to John Beahan and Paul Loneragan who amassed 48 points between them. Balls went to 36 points on a countback and Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Carlos Donoso at 491 cms and on the 17th to Matt Broug at 430 cms. Saturday 14th November was a 2 Man Ambrose sponsored by Carlos Donoso and Roger Pierce.The winners are Sam Gray and John Nankervis with a handicap of 10 finished up with 56 nett ahead of Phil Binskin and Graham Purves with a handicap of 11 and finishing with 57.75. The winner of the Single Stableford was Phillip Lyons (10) with 33 points . Nearest the pin on the 2nd sponsored by BJR Climbing Equipment went to Steve Caswell at 119 cms, on the Leading Edge Computer sponsored 5th to Graham Dowdell at 210 cms, on the Monocure 3D sponsored 7th to Mick Hillier at 85 cms, on the Victor Kanjian sponsored 13th to Phil Binskin at 149 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14th to Brad Evans at 330 cms and on the Ben Cameron One Five Five sponsored 17th to C.Macartney at 125 cms which also picked the mens Propin. Balls went to 61.5 on a countback . Next week we have the Annual Jack Burrows Day which is a Medley 2 Ball Multiplier and Single Stableford sponsored by the Holmes family. Blackheath Ladies….Thursday 12th November was a Bisque Par sponsored by Jean Simpson. A great Thursday field set out but as usual we only have one winner. The event was won by Sandra Draper (27) with a creditable +9 result ahead of Karen Tolhurst (34) also with a great result of +6. Nearest the pin on the 2nd went to Di Pease, on the 5th to Trish Honeysett and on the 13th to Rhonda Lonergan.Balls went to Trish Honeysett,Di Pease,Dorelle Pinch and Camilla Brown. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Sandra Draper.

Saturday 14th November was a Single Stableford sponsored by Etsuko Saxton.The winner was Roslyn Allen (45) with 40 points ahead of Louise Aaron (30) on 37 points.Nearest the pin on the 2nd went to Cindy Fitzgerald, The Loneragan Family sponsored 7th also went to Cindy Fitzgerald and the New Age Kitchen sponsored 17th again went to Cindy Fitzgerald.Next Saturday the Ladies play in the Holmes Family sponsored Medley Day.
