Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 8th to Sat 11th October
BLACKHEATH LADIES...Thursday 9thOctober was a Single Stableford generously sponsored by Susie Tonkin. The winner was Carla Gilderdale (35) with 36 points ahead of Rhonda Lonergan (25) with 35 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2ndhole went to Carrie Soady, on the 13th hole to Liz Campbell and on the 17th hole to Marilyn Rowe. Balls went to 31 points. Saturday 11th October...was a Stroke event for a Club Medal. The winner was Lynne Pressley (24) with 70 nett ahead of Marilyn Rowe (37) with 71 nett. The Scratch winner was also Lynne Pressley with 94 and the Putting went to Carrie Soady with 34 putts. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Lynne Pressley also picking up the Ladies Propin of $208 ,the 13th hole went to Rhonda Lonergan and the 17th hole went to Bec Brown. Balls went to 75 nett. Next Saturday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Yvonne Murray.
BLACKHEATH MEN...Wednesday 8thOctober was our usual Premier Medley Midweek Single Stableford and this week an Aggregate 2 Ball to include some variety into your week. The winner of the Single event was Mighty Mick Hillier (10) in a rich vein of form with 40 points ahead of Phil Colton (16) with 39 points. The 2 Ball Aggregate was a family affair with Sean Sweeny (24) and Riley Sweeny (36) having a great aggregate of 81 points. Nearest the pin on the Mount Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5thhole went to Phil Colton at 950 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17thhole to Garry Way at 71 cms...hope you got the putt mate !!! Saturday 10th October...was Round 2 of the 2025 Club Championships and the daily winner of the stroke event was Ian Foulsham (25) with 64 nett ahead of Todd Cleary (16) with 65 nett on a countback. The winner of the Single Stableford was Cormac Miller (17) with 37 points.Nearest the pin on the unsponsored 2nd hole went to Tom Curtis at 214 cms, on the Park Street group sponsored 5th hole to Josh Thomas at 156 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Alex Halliday at 132 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Barry Simpson at 1170 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole and the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole both going to Al Campbell at 312 and 300 cms respectively. Balls went to 72 nett in the Championships and 35 points in the Stableford.
