Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 7th to Sat 10th Feb

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 7th February was our usual Single Stableford and 2BBB and Round 1 of the Midweek Stableford Championships. The day’s winner and leader of Rd1 was Paul Rowe (17)  with 37 points while the 2 Ball went to John Holmes (21) and Jim O’Keefe (6) with 42 points.Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Ian Hehir at 285 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Graham Jones at 172 cms. Balls went to 34 points on a countback. Come along and join us each Wednesday by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.

Saturday 10th February…was a Single Stableford and 2 BBB. The winner of the Single event was Pat Morgan (20) with 41 points ahead of Steve Tolhurst (8) with 38 points on a countback. The 2 Ball went to Kevin Pidgeon (14) and Brad Pidgeon (6) with 45 points ahead of Karl Munchow (10) and Geoff Sutherland (26) with 44 points  on a countback. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Pat Morgan at 145 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Ross Delaney at 110 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Rodney Tubbs at 600 cms, on the Tonkin  Family sponsored 13th hole to Michael Mole at 192 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Mark Allen at 312 cms and on the unsponsored 17th hole to Jason Duke at 115 cms. Balls went to 37 points. Next Saturday is a Medley 2 Person Ambrose sponsored by Frank Horacek.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 8th February was the Ladies Desley Alexander opening Day sponsored by Ron Alexander. The winner was Margaret Booth (14) with 35 points ahead of Sarah Gardner (22) with 32 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Mandy McAlister, on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Sonya Mills and on the 17th hole to Trish Honeysett. Balls went to 25 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Yvonne Murray.

Saturday 10th February…was a Single Stableford sponsored by  Margaret Booth. The winner was Lynne Pressley (21) with 34 points ahead of Sarah Gardner (22) with 32 points. Nearest the pin on the 2nd Hole went to Di Pease, on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Sarah Gardner and on the New Age Kitchen sponsored 13th hole to Chris Rhind. Balls went to 27 points on a countback.

Next Saturday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Rhonda Lonergan.
