Blackheath Men…Wednesday 6th November was our usual popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the Single event was Todd Cleary (14) with 36 points ahead of Sam Gray (9)with 39 points while the 2 Ball went to Ian Griffiths(9) and Robbie Feyder(21) with 50 points. Nearest the pin on the Mount Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Steve Tolhurst at 610 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Murray Mehrtens at 114 cms. Balls went to 36 points. You can join in the fun at the Mountains TOP course by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2. Visitors are always welcomed at Blackheath.
Saturday 9th November…was a 2 Ball Multiplier and Single Stableford sponsored by Lynne Pressley and Geoff Cope.The winner of the Single event was Ian Hehir (18) with 41 points ahead of Archer Hall (25) with 40 points. The 2 Ball Multiplier went to Jim O’Keefe (8) and Christo Macartney (7) with a great team score of 80 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Corey Oldfield at 241 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Lynne Pressley at 700 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to John Hollis at 310 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Ian Hehir at 15 cms…great shot Ian,and on the unsponsored 14th hole to Brad Pidgeon at 580 cms and finally on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Steve Tolhurst at 42 cms. Balls went to 36 points. Next Saturday the Men play a 2Ball Better Ball and a Single Stableford. Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 7th October was a Single Stableford sponsored by Jean Simpson. The winner was Rebecca Brown(20) with 37 points ahead of Anne Morris (34) with 36 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5th hole went to Carla Gilderdale on the 7th hole to Anne Morris also picking up the Lady Propin and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Dorelle Pinch and on the 17th hole to Suzie Singleton. Balls went to 32 points on a countback.Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford and a Pink Ball Breast Cancer Day sponsored by Chris Rhind Trish Honeysett and on Saturday play a Par event sponsored by Rebecca Brown .Remember the usual popular Friday Arvo 6 Hole Shootout sponsored by the Proshop is back on…to book for that or any of the many weekly events call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.
