Blackheath Men…Wednesday 6^th March was the usual Medley Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the single event was Mani Hitchenson (5) with 37 points on a countback while the 2 Ball went to Karl Munchow (12) and Jim O’Keefe (6) with 46 points . Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5^th hole went to Visitor john Heckenberg at 200 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17^th to Mark Allen at 220 cms. Saturday 9^th March …was a Single Stableford and Irish team Stableford sponsored by Carlos Donoso and Steve Caswell. The single event was won by Greg MacDonald (20) with 37 points on a countback ahead of John Grant (21) with 35 points on a countback. The Irish Team Stableford went to Mark Allen (9), Phil Colton (17), Dave Birrell (19) and Tom Hitchenson (27) with 86 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2^nd hole failed to go off, on the Parke street Group sponsored 5^th hole to John Riley at 285 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7^th hole to Michael Unsworth at 171 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13^th hole to Phil Colton at 333 cms, on the unsponsored 14^th hole to Sam Gray at 56 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17^th hole to Dave Birrell at 110 cms. Balls went to 34 points on a countback.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 7^th March was a Stroke event for a Club Medal sponsored by Womens Golf Blackheath. The winner was Sarah Gardner (23) with a fine 63 nett ahead of Di Pease (27) with 69 nett. The winner of Scratch was again Sarah Gardner with 86 off the stick and the Putting went to Rhonda Lonergan with 29 putts. Nearest the pin on the Paul loneragan sponsored 2^nd hole went to Di Pease, on the 5^th hole to Rhonda Lonergan and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13^th hole to Karen Tolhurst. Balls went to 77 nett. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Di Pease.
