Blackheath Men…Wednesday 4^th December was the usual popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner of the single event was Tom Hitchenson (20)  with 41 points ahead of Henry Herron (20) with 36 points on a countback while the 2 Ball went to the dynamic duo of John Wilson (26) and Phil Colton (16) with 46 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5^th hole went to Andrew Hamill at 500 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17^th hole to Shane Murphy at 206 cms. The Gold Medal scheduled for Saturday 7^th December was washed out and will be rescheduled for early in the new year… BUT this coming Saturday we have the Christmas 4 Person Medley Ambrose sponsored by the Nankervis Family and Captain Brian Tulloch. Get your name down as the sheet is almost full for this enormously popular day.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 5^th December  was a Single Stableford sponsored by Womens Golf Blackheath.The winner was Lynne Pressley (24) with a fine 42 points ahead of Karen Tolhurst (32) with 35 points. Nearest the pin on the 5^th hole went to Karen Tolhurst on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13^th hole to Rhonda Lonerganand on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 17^th hole to Rebecca Brown. Balls went to 31 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a 9 hole single stableford sponsored by Karen Tolhurst followed by their Christmas Luncheon. and on Saturday join the men in the Medley Christmas Ambrose sponsored by the Nankervis Family and Captain, Brian Tulloch.
