Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 30^th May was Round 2 of the 2024 Ladies Championships. The winner and Club Champion was Louise Stevenson with a 2 round total of 170. The winner of Division 2 was Mandy McAlister with 208 and Division 3 went to Jean Simpson with 225. The handicap winners were Lynne Pressley in Division 1 Celine Galvin with 160 nett in Division2 and Yvonne Murray with 159 nett in Division 3. The overall Handicap winner was Margaret Booth with 156 nett. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Marilyn Rowe and on Saturday a 4 person Ambrose Celtic Challenge .

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 29^th May was our usual Medley Single Stableford and 2 BBB sponsored by the ProShop. The winner of the Single event was Dalton Jones (9) with 36 points ahead of Todd Cleary (15) with 35 points on a countback. The 2 Ball went to Carlos Donoso (14) and Mark Allen (10) with 45 points . Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5^th hole went to Mark Allen at 520 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17^th hole to Glenn Mills at 800 cms. Saturday 1^st June… was a Stroke event for the June Medal. The victor in A grade was Corey Oldfield (7) with 66 nett. B grade went to Darrell Gawthorpe (14) with 66 nett and C grade went to Patrick Morgan (20) with 70 nett. The Single Stableford in conjunction went to visitor Wayne Ryan (17) with 39 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2^nd hole went to Mark Allen at 168 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5^th hole to Jason Duke at 790 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7^th hole to Paul Rowe at 132 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13^th hole to Mick Hillier at 235, on the unsponsored 14^th hole to Stuart Brown at 490 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17^th hole to Ross Delaney at 490 cms. Balls went to 70 nett in the Medal and to 37 points in the Stableford. Next Saturday is the Medley 4 Person Ambrose with the sponsors happy for participants to dress in National dress.
