Blackheath Men…Wednesday 27^th November was the usual popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner of the single event was Rob Dempsey (10) with 38 points while the 2 Ball went to the dynamic duo of Frank Horacek (20) and Graham Jones (30) with 47 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5^th hole went to Jim O’Keeffe at 272 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17^th hole to Graeme Phillips at 485 cms. The event scheduled for Saturday 30^th was washed out BUT this coming Saturday we have the Christmas 4 Person Medley Ambrose sponsored by the Nankervis Family and Brian Tulloch. Get your name down as the sheet is almost full for this hughly popular day.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 28^th November was a Single Stableford sponsored by Sarah Gardner.The winner was Mandy McAlister (26) with a fine 41 points ahead of Louise Aaron (34) with 34 points. Nearest the pin on the 7^th hole and the 13^th hole both went to Jean Simpson and on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 17^th hole to Yvonne Murray. Balls went to 27 points on a countback. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Stroke event for the Gold Medal and a Single Stableford for those not in the Gold Medal and on Saturday come along and join the men in the Medley Christmas Ambrose and join in the fun and maybe pick up some Christmas Fare along the way.
