Blackheath Men…Wednesday 27th December was our usual Medley Single Stableford and 2 BBB sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner of the Single event was Mani Hitchenson (8) with 40 points ahead of Graham Dowdell (8) with 39 points. The 2 Ball went to Jim O’Keefe (8) and Christo Macartney (7) with 44 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Ross Delaney at 450 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Darrell Gawthorpe at 400 cms. Saturday 30th December…was a single Stableford and 2 Ball Better Ball. The winner of the single event was Warren McAlister (26) with 39 points on a countback ahead of Ian Hehir (19) also on 39 points. The 2 Ball went to Robbie Feyder (20) and Henry Herron (19) with 48 points ahead of Koby Hamilton-Jones (30) and Michael mole (12) with 47 points. Nearest the pin on  the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Kit Newcombe at 95 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Andrew Lawson at 207 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Ted Griffin at 50 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Henry Herron at 191 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Graham Dowdell at 635 cms and on the unsponsored 17th hole to Greg McDonald at 436 cms. Balls went to 35 points on a countback. Next Saturday the men play a stroke event for the January Medal with a single Stableford in conjunction.Consider getting your name up in lights each and every week by sponsoring the 14th or 17th hole, see the proshop for details.
