Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 28th September was a Single Stableford and the final round of the Midweek Championships sponsored by Susie Tonkin. The winner was Louise Aaron (31) with 36 points ahead of Anne Morris (30) with 35 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2nd hole went to Sarah Gardner, on the 7th hole to Ros Allen and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Louise Aaron. Balls went to 32 points.

Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Mary Holt

Saturday 30th September… was a Single Stableford sponsored by Etsuko Saxton. The winner was visitor Mary McLean (28) with 39 points ahead of Kerry Wynne (33) with 36 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 13th hole went to Louise Stevenson also picking up the 7th hole and the New Age Kitchen sponsored 17th hole. Balls went to 33 points on a countback.

Next Saturday is the Annual Medley Sponsors and Benefactors Day played as a 4 Person Ambrose with a twist or two.   

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 27th  was our usual Single Stableford and 2 BBB sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the Single Stableford was Matthew Bentley (25) with 42 points while the 2 Ball went to Kevin Tooke (29) and Paul Rowe (18) with 50 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plans Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Ross Delaney at 280 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Josh Thomas at 197 cms. Balls went to 36 points on a countback . come along and join us each Wednesday by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and selecting option 2.

Saturday 30th September…. Was a stroke event for the September Medal. The winner of the A grade was Brad Pidgeon (10) with a fine 65 nett. The B grade Medal went to Geoff Hull (18) with 66 nett and the C grade Medal went to Patrick Morgan(19) with 70 nett. The Single Stableford went to Tom Curtis (22) with 38 points on a countback from Luke Horgan (22) also on 38 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Kit Newcombe at 240 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Jason Duke at 50 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Paul Rowe at 280 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Carlos Donoso at 182 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14th hole to Mark Allen at 437 cms and on the Laurance and Mary Petkevitch sponsored 17th hole to Brad Pidgeon at 179 cms. Balls went to 69 nett on a countback in the Medal and to 35 points in the stableford.

Next Saturday is the Annual Medley Centenary Sponsors and Benefactors Day played as a 4 person Ambrose with a twist or two and commencing with a Shotgun start at 10.30 AM.
