BLACKHEATH MEN...Wednesday 22nd October was our popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2Ball Aggregate sponsored by Darrins Proshop.The winner of the Single Stableford was Howard Shaw (26) with a fine 39 points ahead of Club Stalwart and long term member Graham Jones (28) with 36 points. The 2 Ball Aggregate went to Greg Prosper (9) and Steve Caswell (20) with 67 points. Nearest the pin on the Mount Wilson Silva Plana strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Jack Kenworthy at 271 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Cormac Miller at 35 cms, hope you got the putt Cormac mate !! Balls went to 34 points. I say this week after week that visitors are always welcome at the Mountain’s  TOP course each and every Wednesday simply call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2 for a crack.

SATURDAY 25THOctober...was the final round of the Club’s 2025 Championships and provided a great challenge for all involved. The 2025 Club Champion for 2025 is Bill Oldfield (3) with a 4 round aggregate Scratch score of 292...CONGRATULATIONS BILL! The winner of the Handicap event was Ossie Antaw (6) with nett 280. The B grade Champion and Scratch winner is the evergreen Stuart Brown (14) with 338 and the Handicap winner was Todd Cleary (16) with nett 287 and the C grade Champion and Scratch winner was Sean Sweeney (24) with 368 and the C grade handicap winner was Harry Hughan (30) with nett 282. The Junior Champion was Tom Curtis (7) with 311 and the Junior Handicap winner was Harry Hughan (30) with nett 282. The veteran Champion is Bill Oldfield (3) with 292, the Super Veteran Champion was Steve Tolhurst (10) with 327. Congratulations to all who competed from the Board of Directors. The winner of the Daily Nett event was Tom Curtis (7) with nett 63 and the Single Stableford went to John Wilson (28) with 40 points. Nearest the pin on the newly sponsored 2nd hole by Plus Fitness Katoomba went to Stuart Brown at 336 cms, on the Park Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Michael Calvert at 7 cms, great shot Michael, on the James Dakin sponsored 7thhole to Pat Morgan at 337 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13thhole to Tom Curtis at 161 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole to Bill Oldfield at 320 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17thhole to Connor Pryor at 360 cms. Balls went to nett 69 in the Championships and to 36 points in the Stableford.Next Saturday is the Annual Jack Burrows Day in memory of one of the Clubs greatest stalwarts ..Jack Burrows.

BLACKHEATH LADIES... was a 2 Ball Multiplier and Single Stableford generously sponsored by Karen Tolhurst and Mandy McAlister. The winner of the Single event was Carla Gilderdale (36) with 36 points on a countback from Sonya Mills (40) also on 36 points. The 2 Ball Thursday 23rdOctober Multiplier went to Rhonda Lonergan (26) and Jean Simpson (32) with 82 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Rhonda Lonergan, on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Anne Morris and on the 17th hole to Karen Tolhurst.Balls went to 35 points on a countback. Visitors are always welcome to join the Ladies at theTOP course on the Mountains ...simply call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.Next Thursday the Ladies play a Stroke event for a Club Medal.

Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Kerry Wynne, on the 13thhole also to Kerry Wynne and on the 17th hole to Carrie Soady. Next week the Ladies join the Men in a 2 Ball Multiplier and Single Stableford with the Junior Jack Burrows Medal up for grabs by the Juniors so get your team together and book in online or with Darrin or Jack and support this great Annual event at the Mountains TOP course sponsored by John and Margaret Holmes .
