Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 22nd to Sat 25th Nov
Blackheath Men…Wednesday 22nd November was our usual popular Medley Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by the proshop. The winner of the Single event was Darrell Gawthorpe (11) with 40 points while the 2 Ball went to that dynamic duo of Karl Munchow (15) and Todd Cleary (11) with 48 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Darrell Gawthorpe at 440 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Greg McDonald at 720 cms. Balls went to 35 on a countback. Come along and join us by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.
Saturday 25th November…due to the extremely wet conditions a small field braved the day in a Single Stableford. The winner was Brad Pidgeon(8) with 34 points on a countback from Suzanne Cross (21) also on 34 points. Balls went to 31 points on a countback. Next Saturday is the Gold Medal playoff with the December Medal in conjunction. There will be a Presentation of 2023 awards after the days round with some finger food to sustain those who come along. Come along and support your club.
Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 23rd November was a Single Stableford sponsored by Rozi Starkey. The winner was Celine Galvin (26) with 40 points ahead of Louise Aaron (32) on 39 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th hole went to Dorelle Pinch, on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole to Rhonda Lonergan and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Di Pease. Balls went to 32 points. The Ladies Saturday event was unfortunately washed out.Next Thursday the Ladies play a Par event sponsored by Jean Simpson and on Saturday the Ladys play off for the Gold Medal with a Single Stableford in conjunction sponsored by Trish Honeysett.
