Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 21st to Sat 24th Feb

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 21st February was our usual Medley Single Stableford and 2 BBB open to everyone with a Golf Australia handicap. The winner of the Single event was Shane Murphy (6) with 36 points ahead of Carlos Donoso (14) with 35 points  while the 2 Ball went to Steve Delprado (12) and Neville Adams (17) with 41 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Shane Murphy at 584 cms  and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Chris Rhind at 165 cms.Balls went to 32 points. Saturday 24th February…was a the popular Mt Wilson Shuffle and Single Stableford in conjunction sponsored by Robbie Feyder,Geoff Hull, Ted Griffin and Alex Halliday The winning team were Mark Allen, Roz Allen and Carlos Donoso with 78 points while the Single event for the Gents went to John Hollis (18) with 39 points ahead of Domonic Sebastian (21) with 38 points on a countback while the Ladies event went to Carrie Soady (26) with 32 points.  Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Barry Simpson at 436 cms, on the Parke street Group sponsored 5th hole to Jacob Cameron at 202 cms,  on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Mark Allen at 228 cms on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Gordon McClisky at 55 cms, on the 14th hole to Cameron Harris at 375 cms and on the unsponsored 17th hole to Steve Tolhurst at 420 cms. Balls went to 33 points on a countback. Next Saturday is a stroke event for the March Medal with a Single Stableford in conjunction. Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 22nd February was a Single Stableford sponsored by Roz Allen. The winner was Rebecca Brown(23) who set the course alight with 43 points ahead of Carrie Soady (26) with 32 points.Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2nd hole went to Trish Honeysett, on the 5th hole to Carrie Soady and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Mandy McAlister. Balls went to 25 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a 2 Person Ambrose also a qualifying round for the Keno Lets Play Ambrose. On Saturday is a Single Stableford sponsored by Louise Stevenson.
