Blackheath Men…Wednesday 1st November was the usual Medley Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the single event was Kevin Tooke (26) with 39 points ahead of Domonic Sebastion (22) with 38 points. The 2 Ball went to Mitchell Lakeman (19) and Peter Lakeman (26) with 47 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Domonic Sebastion at 480 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Ian Griffiths at 475 cms and Veteran John Hollis aced the 2nd hole. Saturday 4th November was time for the November Medal with a Single Stableford in conjunction. The winner of the A grade Medal was Al Campbell (10) with a fine 64 nett. The B grade resulted in a playoff needed next month between Todd Cleary (17) and Michael Ashford (15) both finishing with 65 nett and the C grade went to Ian Hehir (21) with 66 nett. The Single Stableford went to President Ian Foulsham (26) with 39 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Rebecca Brown at 43 cms, on the Parke street Group sponsored 5th hole to Luke Horgan at 280 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Jim O’Keefe at 168 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Bill Oldfield at 389 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Luke Horgan at 495 cms and on the unsponsored 17th hole to Wally Sheil at 143 cms also picking up the $45 propin. Balls went to 66 Nett in the Medal and to 34 points in the Stableford. Next Saturday is a Medley Scottish 4 Ball stableford with participants encouraged to wear Scottish themed dress with a prize for the best dressed Female and Male and sponsored by Michael Gregg.
Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 2nd November was a Single Stableford sponsored by Karen Tolhurst. The winner was Di Pease (24) with 36 points ahead of Bec Brown (21) with 33 points. Nearest the pin on the 2nd Hole went to Bec Brown, on the 13th hole to Rhonda Lonergan and on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 17th hole to Di Pease. Balls went to 30 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Par event sponsored by Jean Simpson.
Saturday 4th November…was a Single Stableford sponsored by Louise Aaron. The winner was Rhonda Lonergan (21) with 37 points ahead of Jean Simpson (29) with 32 points. Nearest the pin on the 7th hole went to Jean Simpson, on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 13th hole to Carrie Soady and on the 17th hole to Di Pease. Balls went to 27 points on a countback. Next Saturday the Ladies play in the Medley Scottish 4 Ball sponsored by Michael Gregg
