Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 18th June to Sat 21st June

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 19th June was a Stroke event for a Club Medal.The winner was Karen Tolhurst (35) with 69 nett ahead of Carrie Soady (27) on 71 nett.The winner of Scratch and the Putting was Carrie Soady with 98 and 31 putts.Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5th hole was Sonya Mills, the  13th hole went to Karen Tolhurst and the 17th hole went to Carrie Soady. Balls went to 81 nett on a countback.Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Lyn Siebels.

Saturday 21st June…was a Single Stableford sponsored by Louise Stevenson. The winner was Rhonda Lonergan (27) with 39 points ahead of Sonya Mills (38) with 35 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the 7th hole went to Rebecca Brown, on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 13th hole again to Rebecca Brown and on the Womens Golf Blackheath sponsored 17th hole to Louise Stevenson. Balls went to 32 points on a countback. Next Saturday the Ladies and the Men play the Medley Wal Patterson Memorial sponsored by Yvonne Murray, Paul Rowe,Gordon Stovold and Kevin Tooke.

Blackheath Men …Wednesday 18th June was our popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2BBB  sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner was mighty Mick Hillier (12) with 38  points on a countback from Steve Tolhurst (10) also on 38 points while the 2 Ball went to the dynamic duo of Jim O’Keeffe (6) and Paul Rowe (17) with 47 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Steve Tolhurst at 240 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Jim O’Keeffe at 490 cms and balls went to 37 points.  Come along and join us at the Mountains Premier Midweek event by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.

Saturday 21st June…was a 4BBB generously sponsored by Jon Hunt and Hunts Marine. The Hunts Marine family have been long term sponsors of the club for which we thank them for their generous ongoing support. The winners were Ian Tonkin (21),Ian Foulsham (26),Henry Herron (18) and Phill Paull (17) with 56 points. The winner of the Single Stableford was Kevin Pidgeon (18) with 41 points and the Junior winner was Harry Hughan (36) with 36 points. Nearest the pin on the unsponsored 2nd hole went to Kevin Pidgeon at 165 cms, on the Park Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Jim O’Keeffe at 92 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Josh Thomas at 256 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Gary Prosper at 49 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole to Josh Thomas at 316 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Gary Prosper at 353 cms. Balls went to 34 points on a countback.Next Saturday is the Annual Medley Wal Patterson Memorial and remember if you’d like to join us at the Mountain’s TOP course for any of our weekly competitions simply call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2 and for any juniors out there who would like to join in the Tuesday clinics again just call Darrin or Jack and book in.
