Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 16th Apr to Sat 19th Apr
Blackheath Men…Wednesday 16th April was our usual popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by Darrins Proshop. The winner of the single event was Carlos Donoso (15) with 41 points ahead of Barry Simpson (13) with 38 points.The 2 Ball went to Howard Shaw(25) and Pat Kenny (22) with 48 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Shane Murphy at 224 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Paul Rowe with an “ACE” congratulation Paul !! and balls went to 35 points on a countback. You can join us each and every Wednesday at the Mountain’s TOP course by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2 and visitors are always welcome to participate in any of our weekly events.
Saturday 19th April…was a Single Stableford generously sponsored by Richard Morrison.The winner was Al Campbell (12) with 39 points ahead of Karl Munchow (14) with 36 points and in 3rd place was Josh Thomas (+3) with 35 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Shane Murphy at 131 cms, on the Park Street group sponsored 5th hole to Darrell Gawthorpe at 30 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Paul Thomas at 90 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Brad Evans at 380 cms, the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole never went off and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Steve Tolhurst at 72 cms also picking up the Propin.Balls went to 33 points on a countback. Next Saturday the Men play a Single Stableford and 2 Ball and don’t forget the Anzac Day 4 Person Medley Ambrose with a Shotgun start at 8.30am… to book simply call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.Unfortunately the Dusk Ceremony has been cancelled this year. Visitors are always welcome to play in any of our many weekly competitions at the Mountains TOP course.
Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 17th April was a Single Stableford sponsored by Suzie Tonkin. The winner was Carrie Soady (27) with 36 points ahead of Yvonne Murray (36) with 34 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5th hole went to Anne Morris, on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Rhonda Lonergan and on the 17th hole to Yvonne Murray. Balls went to 30 points on a countback.Next Thursday the Ladies play the 2025 Blackheath Open Day sponsored by Michael Mole’s Trent Driving school and Womens Golf Blackheath.
Saturday 19th April…the Ladies played a Single Stableford sponsored by Liz Campbell. The winner was Jean Simpson (35) with 36 points on a countback from Carrie Soady (27) also on 36 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5th hole went to Carrie Soady on the 13th hole to Jean Simpson ,and on the 17th hole again to Carrie Soady.Balls went to 31 points. Next Saturday the Ladies play a Stroke round for a Club Medal sponsored by Womens Golf Blackheath.Dont forget visitors are always welcome at the Mountains TOP course.
