Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 13th Nov to Sat 16th Nov

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 13th November was our usual popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the Single event was Mick Ashford (15) with 40 points ahead of Phil Colton (17) with 38 points while the 2 Ball went to Andrew Hamill (11) and Carlos Donoso (16) with 46 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the Mount Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Todd Cleary at 890 cms  and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Darrell Gawthorpe at 1300 cms. Balls went to 35 points points. You can join in the fun at the Mountains TOP course by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2. Visitors are always welcome at Blackheath.

Saturday 16th November…was a Medley Single Stableford. The winner of the Single event was Lucas Hodgson (26) with 40 points ahead of Carlos Donoso (15)  with 38 points.The winner of the Ladies event was Jean Simpson (34) with 31 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Brett Bond at 70 cms on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Lucas Hodgson at 428 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Cameron MacKellar at 201 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Geoff Cope at 350 cms,  on the newly sponsored 14th hole by Brett Bond to Al Campbell at 315 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole Michael Unsworth at 203 cms. Balls went to 35 points on a countback. Next Saturday the Men play a 2 Ball Better Ball and a Single Stableford. Remember visitors are always welcome at the Mountains TOP course and can join us for any of our weekly events from 6 holes to 9 holes or 18 holes by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 14th November was the Ladies Pink Day in support of Breast Cancer. The winners of the Pink Ball event were Wentworth Falls visitors Leonie Wilson(32) and Susie Maloney (30) with 35 points. The winner of the Single Stableford in Division 1 were Di Pease (26) with 34 points on a countback ahead of Carrie Soady (26) also on 34 points while Division 2 went to Nic Beard (45) with 36 points ahead of Sonya Mills (36) with 34 points. The Secret six winner was Nic Beard. Nearest the pin on the 7th hole went to Bec Brown, on the 13th hole to Di Pease, on the 14th hole to Bec Brown and on the 17th hole to Susie Maloney. Balls went to 30 points on a countback. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Stroke event for a Club Medal and on Saturday a Single Stableford sponsored by Louise Stevenson.
