Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 13th Mar to Sat 16th Mar

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 13th March was our usual weekly Medley Single Stableford and 2 BBB sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the Single event was Ross Delaney (13) with 37 points on a countback ahead of Steve Caswell (15) also on 37 points. The 2 Ball went to Shane Murphy (5) and Todd Cleary (15) with 44 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Stuart Brown at 520 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Howard Shaw at 182 cms. Balls went to 34 points on a countback. Remember you can join in the fun by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2 and if you fall into the 18-40 year category you can join till the end on the year for only $70…an offer too good to refuse !!

Saturday 16th March…was a Single Stableford and 2 Ball. The winner of the Single event was Greg McDonald (19) with 35 points on a countback ahead of Andrew Smith (13) also on 35 points. The 2 Ball went to Dave Birrell (19) and Tom Hitchenson (26) with 45 points ahead of Jack Walden (-2) and Archer Norman (16) with 44 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole failed to go off, on the Parke street group sponsored 5th hole to Lynne Pressley at 321 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole again to Lynne Pressley at 477 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Phil Colton at 62 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Stuart Brown at 150 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Keven Pidgeon at 295 cms. Balls went to 32 points on a countback. Next Saturday the Men play a Single Stbleford and 2BBB.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 14th March was a Single Stableford sponsored by Di Pease. The winner of the Single event was the Day’s sponsor, Di Pease but the trophy went to the next best…Etsuko Saxton (34) with 30 points on a countback ahead of Louise Aaron (31) also on 30 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Anne Morris, on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Louise Aaron and on the 17th hole to Etsuko Saxton. Balls went to 27 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Sonya Mills and on Saturday is a Single Stableford sponsored by Rebecca Brown.
