Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 12th Jun to Sat 15th Jun
Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 13th June the Ladies played a Single Par event sponsored by Roula Gorey.The winner was Chris Rhind (28) finishing square with the card ahead of Bec Brown (23) with -1. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2nd hole went to Lyn Siebels, on the 7th hole to Bec brown and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Young Do. Balls went to -4. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Stroke event for a Club Medal and on Saturday is the team event for the Wal Patterson Memorial.
Blackheath Men…Wednesday 12th June was the Mountains Best Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2 BBB on the absolute “Top” course on the Mountains. The winner was Jim O’Keefe (8) with 34 points on a countback while the 2 Ball went to Ray Stanford (34) and Stuart Brown (14) with 43 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plans Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Shane Murphy at 910 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Jim O’Keefe at 110 cms. Balls went to 34 points on a countback. Saturday 15th June…was a Single Stableford only due to the inclement weather. The winner was Corey Oldfield (7) with 41 points ahead of Carlos Donoso (15) with 39 points. Nearest the pin on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole went to Corey Oldfield at 293 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Patrick Morgan at 201 cms. Balls went to 37 points. Next Saturday is the team event of 3 men and 1 lady or alternatively 2 Ladies and 2 Men playing an aggregate Stableford with a Single Stableford in conjunction.
