Blackheath Ladies… Thursday 12th September was a Single Stableford sponsored by Dorelle Pinch. The winner was Karen Tolhurst (30) with 40 points ahead of Louise Aaron (31) on 35 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th hole went to Ros Allen, on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 7th hole to Di Pease also picking up the Propin and the Bonus Ball jackpot and on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Louise Aaron, Bonus Balls also went to Nola Lavers on the 17th hole. Balls went to 34 points on a countback. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Yvonne Murray. Remember visitors are always welcome at the Mountains TOP course.

Saturday 14th September…was a Single Stableford sponsored by Womens Golf Blackheath. The winner was Nola Lavers (28) with 37 points ahead of Louise Aaron (31) on 36 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5th hole went to Carrie Soady, on the 13th hole to Carla Gilderdale and on the New Age Kitchen sponsored 17th hole to Carrie Soady.Balls went to 30 points. Next Saturday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Womens Golf Blackheath.

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 11th September was the usual Medley Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner of the Single event was Ian Griffiths (11) with 42 points ahead of Ian Tonkin (22) on 41 points. The 2 BBB went to Shane Murphy (5) and Stuart Brown (12) with 51 points ahead of Jack Walden (+3) and Ian Foulsham (25) on 48 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Phil Pierce at 461 cms also picking up the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole at 196 cms. Balls went to 35 points on a countback. Remember if you’d like a crack at the Mountain’s BEST Midweek at the Mountain’s TOP course just call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2. Visitors are always welcome .

Saturday 14th September…was a Stroke event for Round 3 of the 2024 Championships and the September Medal with a Single Stableford in conjunction. The A grade medal went to Mick Hillier (11) with 65 nett, the B grade needs a playoff to decide in next months medal between Darrell Gawthorpe (16) and Tom Curtis (15) both finishing with 68 nett and C grade went to Andy Lavis (28) with 66 nett. The Stableford went to Ian Tonkin (21) with 40 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Brad Evans at 292 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Christo Macartney at 195 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Nat Foster at 194 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Ian Evans at 40 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Jim O’Keeffe at 320 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Jason Duke at 284 cms. Balls went to 34 points in the Stableford and to 69 nett on a countback in the Stroke round.Next Saturday the men play a Medley 2BBB Aggregate and Single Stableford. Remember visitors are always welcome at the TOP course on the Mountains.

Friday 13th September…was the popular 6 Hole Challenge sponsored by the Proshop. The winner of the Ladies event was Club President Lynne Pressley with 15 points and the Men’s event went to Mick Ashford with 15 points. Come along and join in the fun over a short 6 holes kicking off at 3.00 pm every Friday by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2…Visitors are always welcome.
