Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 11th June to Sat 14th June

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 12th June was a Single Stableford sponsored by Lyn Siebels. The winner was Rhonda Lonergan (28) with 40 points ahead of Di Pease (29) on 39 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2nd hole went to Di Pease, on the 13th hole again to Di Pease also picking up the Bonus Balls and on the 17th hole to Carrie Soady. Balls went to 32 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Stroke round for a Club Medal and also the Vets Country Championships.

Blackheath Men …Wednesday 11th June was our popular Medley Midweek Single Stableford and 2BBB  sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner was mighty Mick Hillier (13) with 37 points while the 2 Ball went to the dynamic duo of Ian Hehir (21) and Cormac Miller (17) with 42 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Grahame Phillips at 282 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Geoff Hull at 388 cms and balls went to 32 points on a countback. Saturday 14th June…was a Medley 2 Ball Multiplier and Single Stableford generously sponsored by Lynne Pressley. The 2 Ball Multiplier went to Michael Unsworth (13) and Geoffrey Hull (17) with 76 points. The winner of the Single Stableford was Ian Hehir (21) with 41 points ahead of Rhonda Lonergan (27) with 40 points. Nearest the pin on the now available for sponsorship 2nd hole went to Karl Munchow at 320 cms, on the Park Street Group sponsored 5th hole to new member, Jane Davidson at 48 cms also picking up the Ladies Propin of $221, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Michael Mole at 172 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Christo Macartney at 308 cms also picking up the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole at 620 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Jim O’Keeffe at 118 cms also picking up the Men’s Propin of $223. Balls went to 37 points. Next Saturday at the Mountains TOP course the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Louise Stevenson and the Men play a 4 Ball Better Ball generously sponsored by Jon Hunt and Hunts Marine.
