Blackheath Men…Wednesday 11^th December was a Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by Darrin’s Proshop. The winner of the Single event was Ian Griffiths (8) with 40 points ahead of Barry Simpson (13) with 39 points. The 2 Ball went to the Irish connection of Cormac Miller (14) and Pat Morgan (21) with 45 points. Nearest the pin on the Mount Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5^th hole went to Ian Griffiths at 498 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17^th hole to Jim Ballard at 290 cms. Balls went to 36 points. Remember all you need to do to have a crack at the TOP Medley Midweek at the mountain’s TOP course is call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.As the Ladies normal program is in recess they are welcome to join the Men each Wednesday or just opt to play in their Summer Comp each Thursday and Saturday but just come along whenever and join in the fun.

Saturday 14^th December…was the once a year CHRISTMAS AMBROSE sponsored by the Nankervis Family and Brian Tulloch. The winners were the exceedingly strong combination of Jack Walden, Tom Hitchenson, Mani Hitchenson and Archer Norman playing off 4.63 and finishing with 50.37 ahead of Todd Cleary, Mick Ashford, Kenta Marsh and Steve Marsh playing off 6.38 and finishing with 52.62. The Mixed winners were Ian Foulsham, Linda Foulsham, Jim Ballard and Ian Tonkin playing off 10.75 and finishing with 53.25 and last but not least the visitors trophy went to Jason Bishop, Jon Felgate, Tony Anamourlis and Geoff Hancock playing off 7.63 and finishing with 51.37.Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2^nd hole went to Tony Anamourlis at 162 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5^th hole to Murray Mehrtens at 430 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7^th hole to Archer Norman at 20 cms …great shot Archer, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13^th hole to Graham Dowdell at 145 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14^th hole to Jim Ballard at 208 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17^th hole to Graham Dowdell at 75 cms..great shot Graham and balls went to 54.8.Next Saturday is the Annual Hams Days at the mountains TOP course and remember visitors are always welcome at the mountains TOP course.
