Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 10th to Sat 13th Jan

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 10th January was our usual Midweek Medley Single Stableford and 2 BBB. The winner of the single event was Alex Halliday (18) with 37 points while the 2 Ball went to Phil Colton (19) and Greg McDonald (19) with 45 points. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Graham Dowdell at 99 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Stephen Caswell at 145 cms. Balls went to 33 points. Come along and join in each and every Wednesday by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.

Saturday 13th January….was week 1 of the Mixed Foursome Championships with a Single Stableford in conjunction. The Scratch winners of day 1 were Christine Rhind and Jim O’Keefe (16) with a fine score of 81 while the Nett winners were Sarah Gardner and Stephen Caswell (18) with 70.5 nett. The single Stableford went to Andrew Lawson (9) with 39 points ahead of Ian Hehir (17) with 37 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Michael Unsworth at 303 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Jason Duke at 364 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Geoff Cope at 75 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Kevin Pidgeon at 294 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Rebecca Brown at 434 cms and on the unsponsored 17th hole to Andrew Lawson at 177 cms. Balls went to 73 Nett on a countback in the Foursomes and to 34 points on a countback in the Stableford. Next Saturday is Rd 2 of the Mixed Foursomes along with a Single Stableford in conjunction.
