Blackheath Golf Results - Wed 10th Jul to Sat 13th Jul

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 11th July was a Single Stableford sponsored by Trish Honeysett. The winner was Mandy McAlister (27) with 35 points ahead of Carrie Soady (28) on 33 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5th hole went to Rebecca Brown, on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole to Mandy McAlister and again on the 17th hole to Mandy McAlister. Balls went to 27 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Stroke event for a Club Medal and Rd 3 of WGNSW Medal and also Rd 3 of the Roy Smith Memorial Bowl. Remember the Ladies have a 9 hole Monday Morning Competition and all Ladies with a GA handicap are welcome.

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 10th July was our usual Medley Single Stableford and 2 BBB Midweek competition. The winner of the single event was Ian Griffiths (12) with 36 points while the 2 Ball went to Greg MacDonald Snr (18) and John Wilson (27) with 41 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Josh Thomas at 840 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Jim O’Keefe at 624 cms. Balls went to 32 points. Remember contrary  to what you may have read we have competitions on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and to get a start call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2 for a round on the Mountains TOP golf course.

Saturday 13th July….was a 4 BBB and Single Stableford sponsored by Mark and Ros Allen. The winner of the single event for the Gents was Dave Birrell (19) with 39 points and for the Ladies, Carrie Soady (28) with 34 points. The 4 Ball went to Christo Macartney, Rebecca Brown, Corey Oldfield and Carlos Donoso with 48 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Carlos Donoso at 352 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponored 5th hole to Bec Brown at 900 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Dave Birrell at 298 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Patrick Morgan at 141 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Jamie Simpson at 433 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Brad Pidgeon at 220 cms. Balls went to 34 points. Next Saturday is a Medley 2 Person Ambrose and is the Keno Go qualifying Mixed round.
