Blackheath Men…Wednesday 10th April was the usual Medley single Stableford and 2 BBB sponsored by the proshop. The winner of the Single event was Jim O’Keefe (6) with 36 points on a countback ahead of Cormac Miller(14) with 34 point while the 2 Ball went to Kevin Lamb (16) and Ian Griffiths (11) with 43 points.Nearest the pin on the Mt Wilson Silva Plana Strikers sponsored 5th hole went to Ross Delaney at 120 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th hole to Frank Horacek at 204 cms. Saturday 13th April ….was a Single Stableford and 2BBB. The winner of the Single event was Kevin Lamb (16) with 39 points ahead of Sam Gray (9) with 36 points on a countback. The 2 Ball went to Luke Oldfield (13) and Ben Oldfield (10) with 47 points ahead of Ian Hehir (18) and Murray Mehrtens (27) with 42 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Kevin Lamb at 650 cms, on the Parke street Group sponsored 5th hole to John Hollis at 297 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Al Campbell at 360 cms, on the Tonkin family sponsored 13th hole to Jason Duke at 143 cms, on the unsponsored 14th hole to Ben Oldfield at 570 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Jason Duke at 286 cms. Balls went to 35 points.Next Saturday is the Medley Super 6s sponsored by Al Campbell and Bec Brown.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 11th April was the 2024 Ladies Foursomes Championships which were reduced to a 1 round event due to the rain. The winners were Lynne Pressley and Chris Rhind  with 101 ahead of Rhonda Lonergan and Jean Simpson with 107. The handicap winners were Louise Aaron and Trish Honeysett playing off 32 and finishing with 77 nett ahead of Yvonne Murray and Nola Lavers playing off 32 and finishing with 78 nett. Next Thursday is the Ladies 2024 Open day.

Saturday 13th April… was a Single stableford sponsored by Linda Foulsham. The winner was Di Pease (27) with 38 points ahead of Etsuko Saxton (35) with 30 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul loneragan sponsored 7th hole went to Sonya Mills, on the 13th hole to Di Pease and on the New Age Kitchen sponsored 17th hole to Chris Rhind. Balls went to 26 points.Next Saturday is the Medley Super 6s sponsored by Bec Brown and Al Campbell.
