Blackheath Ladies...Thursday 30th October was a Single Stableford generously sponsored by Anne Morris. The winner was Louise Aaron (37) with 40 points ahead of Mandy McAlister (28) with 38 points on a countback. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2nd hole went to Mandy McAlister with Rhonda Lonergan picking up both the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13th hole and the 17th holes. Balls went to 32 points. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Carrie Soady.Remember visitors are always made welcome at the Mountains TOP course and to book simply call Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.
Blackheath Men & Ladies...Saturday 1st November was Programmed as the Jack Burrows Rhododendron Classic sponsored by Margaret and John Holmes but the weather unfortunately put paid to that and the day was played as a Medley Single Stableford with the Rhododendren Classic TBA. The winner of the rain shortened day was Todd Cleary (16) with 40 points ahead of Bill Oldfield (3) with 39 points on a countback from Michael Mole (13) also on 39 points and bringing up the rear was Jack Walden (+3) with 38 points. The winner for the Ladies was Christine Rhind (29)with 34 points. Nearest the pin on the newly sponsored by Plus Fitness Katoomba was Adam Preen at 71 cms, on the Park Street Group sponsored 5th hole to Russell Curtis at 520 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7th hole to Michael Mole at 84 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th hole to Steve Tolhurst at 420 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole to Christo Macartney at 690 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Luke Oldfield at 152 cms. Balls went to 37 points.Next Saturday is a Stroke event for the November Medal generously sponsored by Sam Gray and put Saturday 15th in the diary for the Mount Wilson Shuffle generously sponsored by Robbie Feyder, Geoff Hull, Ted Griffin and Alex Halliday played as a 1-2-3 Best Ball Challenge with a Single Stableford in conjunction at the Mountains TOP course.
