Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 23^rd May was the Wendy Snelling Trophy day played as a Stroke event sponsored by Carrie Soady. The winner was Di Pease (26) with 71 nett ahead of Young Do (26) with 75 nett.The Scratch winner was Di Pease with 97 off the stick also picking up the Putting with 29 putts to top off a great day. Nearest the pin on the 7^th hole went to Young Do, on the 13^th hole to Carrie Soady and on the 17^th hole to Karen Tolhurst. Balls went to 80 nett. Next Thursday the Ladies play round 2 of the 2024 Championships .

Saturday 25^th May…was a single Stableford sponsored by Yvonne Murray. The winner was Carrie Soady (27) with 33 points ahead of Nola Lavers (31) with 32 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 5^th hole went to Di Pease, on the 13^th hole to Nola Lavers and on the New age kitchen sponsored 17^th hole to Bec Brown, the Propin also going off to Di Pease. Balls went to 31 points. Next Saturday the Ladies play a stroke event for a Club medal.

Blackheath Men…Saturday 25^th May was Round 2 of the Men’s Foursomes Championships. The winner were Mark Allen and Al Campbell playing off 8.5 and finishing with an overall score for the 2 rounds of 165. The handicap winners were Luke and Ben Oldfield playing off 11 and finishing with 151 nett. This Saturday Daily winners were Al Campbell and Mark Allen (8.5) with 74.5 nett. The winner of the single Stableford played in conjunction was Matthew Harrington (19) with 40 points ahead of Mick Hillier (11) with 37 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2^nd hole went to Mick Hillier at 519 cms, on the Parke Street Group sponsored 5^th hole to Karl Munchow at 390 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7^th hole to Josh Thomas at 97 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13^th hole to Al Campbell at 130 cms, on the unsponsored 14^th hole to Corey Oldfield at 394 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17^th hole to Graham Dowdell at 136 cms. Balls went to 75 nett in the Foursomes and to 34 points in the Stableford.
