Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 26^th June was a Single Stableford sponsored by Roz Starkey. The winner was Karen Tolhurst (35) with38 points ahead of Anne Morris (34) with 35 points. Nearest the pin on the Paul Loneragan sponsored 2^nd hole went to Dorelle Pinch, on the Tolhurst Family sponsored 13^th hole to Karen Tolhurst and on the 17^th hole to Marilyn Rowe. Balls went to 28 points. Blackheath Men and Ladies…was the Medley Best 2 out of 4 Stableford scores sponsored by Marilyn Rowe, Yvonne Murray,Kevin Tooke and Gordon Stovold.The Team of 4 winners were Jean Simpson (34) Barry Simpson (10) Darrell Gawthorpe (17) and Murray Mehrtens (27) with an aggregate score of 88 Stableford points.The Mens winner of the Single Stableford was Kevin Pidgeon (17) with 41 points and the Ladies winner was Rebecca Brown (23) with 43 points. The Junior winner was Harry Hughan with 29 points. Nearest the pin on the unsponsored 2^nd hole went to Ross Delaney at 54 cms, on the Park Street Group sponsored 5^th hole to Pat Morgan at 145 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7^th hole to Darrell Gawthorpe at 900 cms, on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13^th hole to Tom Hitchenson at 275 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14^th hole to Michael Unsworth at 106 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17^th hole to Darrell Gawthorpe at 324 cms. Sunday 22^nd June…was Round 2 of the Shipley Shield 4 Person Ambrose. The winning team were Greg McDonald, David Monck,Brad Howell and Brett Nightingale playing off a handicap of 7 and finishing with nett 54 ahead of Domonic McCrossin, Matthew Holmes, Matthew McCrossin and Ben McCrossin playing off 6 and finishing with nett 55. The next round of the Shipley Shield will be played on Sunday 20^th July. Get yourself a team together and join in the event by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.
