Blackheath Golf Results - Sat 16th to Sat 16th Apr

Blackheath Men and LadiesSaturday 16th was a Medley 9 hole competition due to the holes that remain unplayable after the huge recent rain event. The winner of the Mens  comp was Michael Unsworth (11) with 21 points picking up a $60 Proshop voucher ahead of Pat Kenny (18) on 20 points picking up a $30 Proshop voucher. The winner of the Ladies event was Di Pease (24) with 20 points picking up a $60 Proshop voucher ahead of Sonya Mills (37) with 19 points and picking up a $30 Proshop voucher. Nearest the pin on the 17th for the gents went to Stuart Brown at 320 cms and the Ladies winner was Etsuko Saxton at 120 cms. Balls went to 18 points. Next Saturday is another Medley Single Stableford over a yet to be decided course dependent on how the course dries out over the week. Members are thanked for their patience and support over a difficult period for the club.

Easter Weekend Results…with parts of the course being unplayable and 9 hole competitions being the format for the weekend  a decision was taken that the best 2 x 9 hole Single Stableford results would be the winners of the Easter Cup. The aggregate winner for the Ladies was Sonya Mills with 38 points while the Mens aggregate winner was  Ross Delaney with an aggregate of 39 points. The winners of the Monday’s round for the Men was Laurance Petkevich with 20 points  and Yvonne Murray with 19 points for the Ladies. Next Saturday we hopefully will get to play 16 holes in a Medley Single Stableford and our usual Anzac Day $ person Medley Ambrose will be played on Monday.
