Blackheath Golf Results - Sat 13th December
BLACKHEATH LADIES AND MEN...Saturday 13th December was the beginning of the Ladies Summer Competition for our Ladies where all the events are unofficial and visitors are welcome to join in but the Men carry on regardless and Saturday was the December Medal and the playoff for the ALL IMPORTANT GOLD MEDAL. The winner of the Gold Medal was Todd Cleary (13) with 64 nett. The winner of the A grade December Medal was Bill Oldfield (1) with a fine 65 nett, the B grade Medal went to Todd Cleary (13) with 64 nett and the C grade went to upcoming Junior Harry Hughan (28) with 66 nett. The winner of the Single Stableford was Rodney Winter (15) with 35 points. Nearest the pin on the Katoomba Fitness Plus sponsored 2ndhole went to Christo Macartney at 238 cms, on the Park Street Group sponsored 5thhole to Brock Cross at 272 cms, on the James Dakin sponsored 7thhole to Stephen Caswell at 58 cms ( hope you got the putt Steve ), on the Tonkin Family sponsored 13th (spare) hole to James Dakin at 162 cms, on the Brett Bond sponsored 14th hole to Michael Unsworth at 342 cms and on the Chris and Keith Rhind sponsored 17th hole to Greg McDonald Snr at 338 cms. Balls in the Medal went to 70 nett and to 34 points in the Stableford.Next Saturday the All Important Festive Season gets into full swing at the Mountains TOP course with the Christmas 4 Person Medley Ambrose generously sponsored by the Nankervis Family and with Hams and other Christmas Fare being on the Prize list so all you members support this yearly event and get your name down by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2.
In the first round of the Ladies unofficial Summer Competition the spoils went to Louise Aaron (33) with 35 points on a countback from Sarah Gardner (23) also on 35 points. Visitors are always welcome to join the Ladies in the Summer Competition at the Mountains TOP course by calling Darrin or Jack on 47878406 and select option 2 .
