Blackheath Golf Results - Monday 30th Aug to Saturday 4th Sep

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 1st September was time for the Midweek Single Stableford and 2 Ball Aggregate. Great weather on the first day of Spring made for some great scoring with Mani Hitchenson (15) and Greg McDonald (15) both having 36 points while the 2 Ball aggregate went to a couple of Tuesday Club stalwarts in Clive Woodworh (26) and John Hollis (17) having an aggregate score of 72 points. Clive contributed a fine 40 points and John Hollis managed 32 points. Balls went to 33 points. If you would like to join us each Wednesday to get some much needed exercise and you have a Golf Australia handicap give Darrin or Jack a call on 47875643.

Saturday 4th September was again a Single Stableford and 2 Ball Aggregate. The winner of the Single event was Mani Hitchenson (16) with 40 points ahead of Barry Simpson (10) with 37 points. The 2 Ball Aggregate went to Greg McDonald (16) and John Wilson (20) with 74 points. Balls went to 33 points and next Saturday we do it all over again with a Single Stableford and 2 Ball Aggregate.

Blackheath Ladies…Monday 30th August was a 9 hole Single Stableford. The winner was Anne Morris (37) with 20 points ahead of Etsuko Saxton (34) with 18 points.

Thursday 2nd September was a Single Stableford sponsored by Virginia Hurst. The winner was Nola Lavers (26) with 40 points ahead of Mary Petkevitch (25) with 39 points. Balls went to 29 points. Next Thursday the ladies again play a Single Stableford sponsored by Sunny Ihm.

Saturday 4th September was a Single Stableford sponsored by Chris Rhind. The winner was Sandra Draper (29) with 39 points ahead of Rhonda Lonergan (25),Lynne Pressley (21) and Louise Aaron (33) all on 34 points. Balls went to 30 points. Next Saturday is again a Single Stableford sponsored by Womens Golf Blackheath.
