The Legends Pro-Am is on Wednesday, all day. Spectators are welcome to come and see the action.

BLACKHEATH WOMEN

Thursday 1st November was a Single Stableford sponsored by Di Pease. Lynne Pressley (23) 35 won with Di Pease (23) 31 runner-up. Third was Karen Tolhurst (31)with 29 points. Nearest-the Pins went to Ro Perry on the 2nd and Rhonda Lonergan on the Vegie Patch-sponsored 13th. Balls went to 25 OCB.

Saturday 3rd November was a Stroke Club Medal Round. Louise Stevenson (9) 69 won, with Ros Starkey second on 70. Yvonne Murray won the Vegie Patch 13th MTP and Louise won the 17th

BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 31st October was our monthly Tiger Tee Single Stableford and 2BBB with prizemoney exceeding $300. The Singles winner was Ian Griffiths (11) with 40 points. Grahame Phillips (14) came second with 39. Ian combined with Roger Saxton (15) to win the 2BBB comp with 49 points. Second were Ray Stanford (36) and Don Griffith (23) with 45 points. Balls went to 36 points. Nearest-the Pin on the 2nd was Pat Kenny (328cm) and on the 17th Trevor Thomas (325cm).

Saturday 3rd November was our Monthly Medal and White Course Single Stableford. In warm windy conditions Darrel Gawthorpe (13) 69 and Dave Robertson (15) headed the stroke field. They will play-off for the Medal next month. Andrew Lawson (8) recorded the best scratch score ((72). The Single Stableford went to Larry Manning (18) 39 with Steve Tolhurst (9) second on 36. Balls went to nett 72 or 36 points. The Nearest-the-Pin winner on the second (sponsor: Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters & Cabinet Making) was unknown. On the 5th (Office Choice/LEADING EDGE COMPUTERS Blue Mountains) John Hollis hit it to 48cm. The 7th (SiLLYMiLLY Kid’s Clothing) was Mick Lonergan’s at 590cm. On the 13th Gordon Stovold (Blue Mountains Escapes) got to 498cm. On the 14th it was visitor Paul de Lange (300cm) and on the 17th, Ben Cameron’s hole, John Hollis hit it to 510cm.

On Fridays our 9-hole Single Stableford Comp was won by Warren Westcott with 21 points. This comp is a winner-takes-all with an entrance fee of $5 (plus green fees which are $0 for members). To play, all you need is a marker. Our Pro-Shop can organise you into a game.

Remember our free Junior Clinics from 3.45 to 4.30pm during school terms. Any junior of school age is most welcome. No equipment required, just ring Darrin to find out more, or just turn up.
