Spiegelesque - Circus, Cabaret, Comedy and Burlesque Combine for One Breath-Taking Show
With dynamic dancing, aerial artistry, sultry singers, sequins, feathers and poles, it’s daring, comical, sexy and spectacular – a kaleidoscope of entertainment like you’ve never seen before.
Theatre-goers are invited to leave their real lives at the door and step back in time to the majestic world of cabaret, comedy, circus and burlesque.
Spiegelesque stars the multi-talented Cabaret and Musical Theatre star, Wayne Scott Kermond. Being “born in a trunk”, he is a fourth generation performer. Wayne has been in and around all facets of show business his whole life. And with over 30 years of performing, whether it be musical theatre productions, cabaret shows including his own show Candy Man or appearing in major films, Wayne has earned himself a reputation of being a true professional of abundant talent. Wayne and his talented band of performers from Spiegelesque are here to push the boundaries of contemporary cabaret.
When asked what was so special about The Joan, Wayne replied, “The name is iconic for a start, and the theatre and the people working there are so very nurturing - when you walk into the foyer it feels like home. The audiences are wonderful, and I think they really appreciate having such a fantastic venue on their door step.”
“There is no other show like it,” says Wayne. “We have an amazing mix of people come see the show, and we’ve assembled the best cabaret artists around. And there’ll be some surprising twists.”
Why not grab a group of friends and be dazzled by this dynamic cast of entertainers? The time is now!
