Save Money on Kids Sport with the NSW Govt. Active Kids Program

Archived 29 Mar 2018 - Posted: 31 Jan 2018
The summer holidays are over, the kids are returning to school and it’s time to think about sport registrations. Sporting Clubs across the mountains are opening their registrations now.

This year, the NSW Government is helping kids get active with the new Active Kids program. Parents, carers or guardians can apply for a voucher for any NSW resident child enrolled in school via their MyServiceNSW account. All you need to have handy is your Medicare card details for the student.

Once you’ve applied and received your voucher code (which only takes minutes), you can use your code to receive a $100 discount with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities.

Your local sporting club will know all the details and are ready to accept your vouchers. Registrations for both football and netball take place online with Registration Days at the clubs available for new players or returning players with certain criteria. Your Club website will have all the details.  Here’s a list of Football and Netball Clubs open for registrations right now.
