Reminder Bulky Waste Cleanup
Council provides a free bulky waste collection service twice a year with the final one for this year scheduled for the 10th September 2018.
Lithgow City Council Mayor Councillor Stephen Lesslie said, “Council’s free bulky waste collection provides residents with the opportunity to tidy up around your property. All people have to do is leave any bulky waste at the kerbside near where they would normally place their garbage bin.”
Bulky items will be collected providing they can be picked up by two men and any cases, boxes, cartons etc should be securely tied. No liquid or chemical items will be collected, nor will any items requiring the use of a shovel.
Councillor Lesslie added, “I urge residents to take advantage of this service which Council is pleased to provide to the community.”
Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service should register by midday on Friday the 7 September 2018.
Contact Council’s Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or alternatively register on Council’s website (by midday 7 September 2018).
Then, on the night before Monday 10 September 2018, leave bulky waste adjacent to where you would normally place your garbage bin for pickup.
