Recycling Has Never Been Cheaper in Lithgow
Lithgow Council has reduced the cost of an additional kerbside recycling service to only $77.00 per year. The reduction in price for an additional recycling service is to provide the community with the resources to increase recycling at home.
“The more recycling that is diverted from landfill the better for the environment and in turn the community,” said Lithgow Council Mayor, Stephen Lesslie.
If you are a passionate recycler and you feel you generate more recycling than is proportionate to your current recycling bin, you can contact Council on (02) 6354 9999 to arrange an additional service be added to your rates.
