Political Art and Artists in the Digital Age - Free Public Forum
Panellists include Western Sydney University academic and author Professor Gay Hawkins, who will Chair the forum; Black Mist Burnt Country Curator JD Mittman, Western Sydney Aboriginal artist Blak Douglas, conceptual artist and change-maker Ian Milliss, pioneering Garage Graphix artists Alice Hinton-Bateup and Maxine Conaty; and artist Cigdem Aydemir, who is strongly influenced by her identity as an Australian Muslim woman with Turkish heritage.
Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest is located at 86 River Road, Emu Plains and is open 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. Entry is free.
