Plenty for kids to do in the Blue Mountains these school holidays
There are many affordable events and activities for all ages happening in the Blue Mountains these school holidays.

Council services and community organisations are running more than 50 events over the Spring school holidays.  There are craft and art workshops, futsal and basketball clinics, rides on the miniature railway, Junior Ranger navigation, STEM activities, Bat Night and so much more.

A full list of school holiday activities can be found on the Stronger Families Alliance website: here

Blue Mountains Mayor, Cr Mark Greenhill, said: “Council and community organisations have many activities planned for the school holidays to keep kids engaged and entertained.

“Whether you have a teen into basketball, a primary school-age child who wants to make a fairy house or a budding scientist in the making, there’s something for everyone.

“By compiling all events into one calendar, you don’t have to hunt around to see what’s on – it’s all there in one place.”

Four Blue Mountains schools will be opening their outdoor facilities to the public throughout the September school holidays as part of the Share Our Space Program.

Winmalee High, Springwood High, Ellison Public and Megalong Public grounds will be open from 8am – 5pm from 25 Sept – 8 Oct. Come and shoot some hoops, kick the footy, or enjoy the fenced sporting grounds with your little ones.
