The Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre is excited to announce the appointment of the new Executive Producer Ms Cath Dadd to lead and develop the artistic, community and cultural growth at The Joan.

Cath has worked across all areas of performing arts management – from directing large scale productions with various Australian opera companies including Australia’s largest performing arts organisation – Opera Australia, technical supervision, planning and scheduling season programs, staging gala performances, right down to managing the day to day running of a venue, front of house and working with local Community-based organisations in the presentation of their performances.

Cath said she is "thrilled to join the talented team at The Joan! This is my dream job, to work in my own backyard at my ‘local’, where I can give back to the community that has entertained me so thoroughly for so long."

We are looking forward to have Cath’s creative flair, talent and experience leading the ongoing development and delivery of our public performance season program and continuous audience development and growth.

PP&VA fare-welled James Fisher, after 12 years of outstanding work, as he took up an exciting new role as the Arts Manager of Cardinia Shire in Melbourne.

The Joan has another exciting and varied performance season ahead and we hope you will join us again this year.
