Makers Markets to Celebrate Everything Blue Mountains

A showcase of talented Blue Mountains artisans will feature at the Makers Market – Long Weekend Edition 2019 on Sunday 6 October, an event that will highlight the many talents and products that the Blue Mountains region has produced.

Held from 10am-4pm in the Scenic World Skyway Park, the Makers Market will feature more than 20 stalls from local artisans offering local art, photography, jewellery, fashion, homewares and natural beauty products.

Visitors can expect to enjoy live music, entertainment, coffee and face painting all the while meeting the local artisans who handcraft their products here in the Blue Mountains. Entry is free to this family and pet friendly event.

Scenic World’s Chief Experience Officer Amanda Byrne said, “The Blue Mountains region is brimming with high-quality, creative offerings. This third annual Makers Market is a wonderful opportunity to bring local artisans together to showcase their unique talents and products to our visitors from all over the world.”

“It’s vital that we support the Blue Mountains community and our long term partnership with MTNS MADE is key to ensuring that this continues, the annual Makers Market helps further extend our support for creative industries within the Blue Mountains.”

Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to attend this boutique arts and crafts experience and support local artisans by picking up a range of unique gifts, suitable for all ages.

The Makers Market will feature over 20 local stall holders, including:

Needle VS Thread, Miss MoMo Heartfelt Creations, Blackbird Soy Candles, Gitane Jewellery & Gifts, Alison Dickin Botanical and Wildlife Art, Treasures by Saffron, JAYDID PHOTO, Calling All Nerds, mikano, hiccup art, Christine's Millinery, Brave State, Hanaya Origami Florist, Nina’s Bees, Little Beats Studio, Needle Soup/Poppy & Belle, Addisons Kookies.
