Lithgow Heritage Festival: Free History Talk with Christine Stewart
Lithgow Library invites you to come along on Saturday 7 May at 10.30am for a free talk by Christine Stewart, the author of “Collits’ Inn: Uncovering the Past. Surprises found in restoring this 1823 Australian Icon”. Christine will be talking about the adventure that she and her husband Russell had while restoring Collits’ Inn.
Hear how Christine’s strong connections to the Hartley area, where she and the family spent many holidays going back to 1975 when her mother-in- law bought a small property at the foot of Mt York behind Collits’ Inn, led to the decision to buy the Inn, and all that followed.
Bookings are not required for this event, light refreshments will be provided.
This event will also be available online via Zoom at the same time as the live event. To access the online event you will need to have the Zoom App here on your device and then rsvp to the library via email at lithgow.library@lithgow.nsw.gov.au for the logon details.
