The Lithgow District Chamber of Commerce invited investor organisations to this region on Wednesday 21 February for the Grow Lithgow forum which encouraged potential investors to consider doing business in the Lithgow LGA.

Attendees gathered at the Black Gold Motel in Wallerawang for two days of panels, workshops, and information sessions with representatives from a wide range of different organisations in the region promoting the great lifestyle and economic potential of investing in Lithgow.

Mayor Maree Statham spoke at the event, welcoming guests to the city and highlighting the benefits of investing here, stating that “Lithgow offers affordability without compromising on quality. Whether it’s cost-effective real estate or competitive operational expenses, our region ensures that your investments yield substantial returns.” The Mayor also went on to highlight the lifestyle opportunities of the region saying, “Lithgow offers a lifestyle that balances work and well-being all surrounded by natural beauty.”

Lithgow City Council Director of People and Place Shaun Elwood agreed with the Mayors sentiments in a presentation about the lifestyle benefits of our city, putting strong emphasis on the undiscovered endowments and facilities in this city saying “we have everything in Lithgow from stunning landscapes to paint through to amazing family camping destinations in our great valleys, and all this supported by quality community and sporting facilities  and all this less than 2 hours from the new western Sydney airport ”

The event was organised by the Lithgow District Chamber of Commerce using funding from the NSW Governments Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Package.
