Last Call to Have Your Say on Parking Plan
The draft Citywide Parking Strategic Plan, which has been on exhibition since 22 November 2017, will assist the development and implementation of an integrated, accessible and sustainable transport system.
It will provide a parking supply and demand profile across the Blue Mountains Local Government Area, provide recommendations to reduce parking conflicts and inform the future planning for parking management and infrastructure.
Currently, large parking areas throughout the city are not consistent with the distinctive character of the Blue Mountains. There is also limited supply of suitable land in areas with high parking demand.
The draft plan seeks innovative methods to address these issues.
Residents are encouraged to be part of the conversation about the parking plan.
Printed copies of the draft plan are available at Council’s Katoomba & Springwood offices and branch libraries. Submissions are accepted by email to email@example.com and in writing to Locked Bag 1005 Katoomba NSW 2780.
