Katoomba RSL Announces Development Application Approval
They have expressed their gratitude to The Blue Mountains City Council for their efforts in fast-tracking the application and for their continued co-operation throughout the application process.
They have also thanked their Members for their continued support and patience as they work on the re-building of the Club premises.
The Club closed in February 2017 after a major fire caused extensive damage to the club building in Lurline Street. They encouraged their members and guests to visit their other club, Wentworth Falls Bowling Club for dining and gaming options.
The Club recently purchased the cottage at 4 Merriwa Street, Katoomba and this additional land will allow a much larger club to be built. The new club will have the entrance directly off the carpark and will relocate the restaurant to the Merriwa Street corner. The Community War Memorial will be relocated to within the boundary of the carpark.
In the meantime the Club's Administration Office is located in The Katoomba Town Centre Arcade opposite The Little Paris Cafe where they will assist with any enquiries you may have.
