JM Robson Aquatic Centre - 50m Pool Closure for Winter
With Lithgow’s wonderful warm weather sadly slipping away, the outdoor pool must close to accommodate this change. From Sunday 7th April 2019, the outdoor 50m pool and splash pad pool will be closed for the winter.
J M Robson Aquatic Centre will still remain open with the 25m pool still running for your leisure, learn to swim and training needs. Council encourages the community to use this heated facility as it was designed to specifically accommodate cool outside temperatures, so there is no reason to stop swimming!
While there will be limited lane space between 3pm and 7pm, staff will strive to keep at least one lane open for the public with roped lanes being increased and decreased in line with patron needs and facility usage.
Lithgow City Council thanks you for your continued patronage and we look forward to reopening all pools in October.
