An exhibition by Jenny Channing, a well-known local artist who uses fabric and needles to create her fabulous quilts, depicting local scenes and other images and patterns, will be held at Lithgow Library from December to January.

Local quilter and artist Jennifer Channing will be displaying her intricate quilts at Lithgow Library from 1 December 2018 to 31 January 2019. Alongside Jenny’s quilts will be some quilts created by her students from Beehive where she teaches a dedicated group each week. These students will have the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learnt. Also on show will be Jenny’s amazing quilt depicting a scene from Hassans Walls Reserve.

“The diversity of the artworks that have been on display this year at the Lithgow Library has been outstanding,” said Mayor Ray Thompson.

The free exhibition will be on display from 1 December 2018 – 31 January 2019 at Lithgow Library during Library opening hours. For more information on this exhibition or upcoming exhibitions contact the library on 6352 9100.
