A small service was held on Monday 19 September at Queen Elizabeth Park, where the Lithgow City Council Mayor, Councillor Maree Statham and the community laid their wreaths to recognise the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Mayor Statham said “It was heartwarming to see so many people come to honour and pay their respects to the Queen. We are all feeling the sadness of the world’s great loss in Queen Elizabeth’s passing. An amazing, gracious and genuine role model who will be truly missed.”
